Rethinking the Grocery Store Bouquet...
For most people, carnations evoke images of 50's corsages, filler flowers and grocery store bouquets, but I think they've gotten a bad rap. Tight clusters of the same color pulled together in a beautiful vase can be quite stunning. Plus for the budget conscious they're a hearty and an inexpensive way to add a pop of color into your home.
One of my favorite designers, Carolyne Roehm used white carnations to compliment a blue and white table.
