FOOD TRUCK ART
I love it when something so common on the streets of NYC, as food carts are recreated into works of art. Check out these great prints by LA artist, Sean Finnocchio.

SHOPPING DELIGHT
Have you ever gotten a gorgeous shopping bag from a store and instead of throwing it away, stashed it away to use at a later date, i.e. bringing an item to a friend, or carrying gifts home for the holidays? I am certainly guilty of this. It's not so much about the brand, but the great design and gorgeous colors that draw me in.
I was thrilled when I spotted a new use for bags over at Design Darling. Why not hang these beautiful bags as pieces of art on the wall?

Artfully Displayed...
Last night I met with a friend to help her figure out the design for her new apartment. This is her first apartment on her own and she can't wait to infuse some of her style into the empty space.
My friend has this incredible collection of water color artwork from St Kitts artist, Kate Spencer. The colors and beachy feeling in her work are the inspiration behind the apartment design. I've been doing a little research this morning, trying to figure out how to incorporate these in a fun way in her new space. Here are a few ideas...

Postcards artfully displayed with colored masking tape...
Postcards become the show stopping centerpiece over a table...
Classic style...
With a long wall, this would be perfect for a large collection of artwork...
No hanging required when artwork is displayed on a bookshelf...
